nada brahma - the world is sound

tim wheater

wednesday 13 april 7pm This will be a rare opportunity to work with world-renowned musician and workshop facilitator Tim Wheater. We are all born inherently creative, living in an abundant universe. Tonight will be an inspiration and an evening to remember. Tim's use of voice and sacred sound creates a deep resonance within the soul, evoking a deep connection with our higher divine selves. Discover the resonance and depth of your own sound power. Open the heart, feed the soul, touch the stillness and learn how to effortlessly meditate using sound. Unlock the healing energies of vibration. During the workshop, we will utilise planet gongs, crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls and harmonic voice. Discover your natural healing voice using breath, toning and chanting. A powerful and yet peaceful evening workshop that is suitable for all. You do not need to be a musician or singer - everyone is welcome. Tim Wheater - award-winning composer, flautist, vocalist, performer and public speaker has presented his inspirational music worldwide. He has travelled over a million miles, lecturing and performing. He has presented alongside some of the worlds finest authors, healers and musicians and has performed for Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, The King and Queen of Sweden and, most recently, His Holiness The Dalai Lama. He studied in London, Paris and New York with James Galway, Marcel Moyse and Nadia Boulanger. He is an Associate of The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. With over twenty albums to his credit, several of his CDs have won awards in the United States. In 1988 Tim suffered a debilitating illness, a result of water poisoning, which led to paralysis. He healed himself with sound vibrations, and thereby discovered his singing voice and the secret power of music. www.timwheater.com Admission £7.50 (£5.00 concessions)
