Colour can be used for balance and healing, stimulating inspiration and meditative states, enhancing energy levels and for bringing about deeper levels of awareness. Its power has been recognised throughout the centuries. The composer Wagner, for instance, found that purple curtains fringed with gold inspired his music, while blue light has been used in hospitals to help the recovery of newborn babies who are in need of special treatment. Each colour is an energy that has its own unique attributes.

Colour treats the whole person, not just the disease, and as such it is a truly holistic therapeutic tool. It is one of the most effective vibrational remedies, restoring a proper flow of energy to the body and aura to help bring stability on physical, mental, emotional and psychic levels.

Vivien will give a brief history of colour healing, and discuss how colour is connected to your energy field. She will explore how colour affects you on various levels, the different ways in which it is used therapeutically, and give practical hints for using it for your own well-being. The evening will include some techniques that you can practise safely and effectively at home.
