Experience the in-depth healing power of the gong bath, and learn techniques for emotional stress release, chakra alignment, and yoga breath exercise. In this hands-on workshop you will learn the skill of a healing tone artist, using the bronze gong, singing bowl, sacred blowing conch, and vocal overtoning. You will also acquaint yourself with the gong's esoteric and mystical origins as well as present day applications. To conclude our day, all will take part in a sound-healing circle.

For the past 30 years, Don Conreaux has brought the mystical and entertaining sounds of the ancient bronze gong (tam tam), bells, bell bowls, shofar and the spiral sea horn (conch) to millions of listeners around the world. He has appeared many times on television and radio as a performing artist. He has two degrees in theatre arts and has worked throughout his career in film and television; he was an actor, writer, and director in Hollywood before arriving in New York in 1984. He is a genuine Gongmaster, as well as artistic director of The Mysterious Tremendum Consort and School of Sacred Sound.

Don tours worldwide, giving instruction and full-evening concerts. He promotes the gong as a means of stress reduction and subsequent healing, but also sees tone vibration as a tool for expanding awareness and global unity. He teaches the art and science of the gong, sacred conch playing, archaic polyphonic chanting and several other ancient tone producing instruments.
